As some of you know there is a chap trying to rasie a million dollars (original eh;-) but he’s added a twist…he’s trying to make the Olympic team for long distance running.
His site has gotten some decent exposure and I thought I’d try and help him out a bit by holding a vote to see if others think he can succeed at reaching his goal(s)
I made all the votes categories 75 cents…so link, picture or banner are all 75 cents…lets get this kid to the olympics.
I’ll be using the proceeds from this topic to buy a link on his site for one lucky person who buys a vote ad on piddypine.

Well I have been contacted by someone who thought that a good topic would be Redsox VS Yankees…hmmm…makes sense don’t ya think.
I’m glad I am keeping a tally as to how many votes and how much was spent on the ads…This way we’ll see who the real fans are

Have been chatting with some folks on Digitalpoint and am taking their advice of lowering the prices. I wasn’t real sure what price to post, but after hearing suggestions from folks who have been at this alot longer than I have I lowered them as of Sunday Nov, 19.
Still waiting for my first partner to come up with a good topic that will get people to buy vote ads. And make themselves some money while their at it.

After seeing the million or so college football games during the weekend, I figured we’ll start to see some clever college kids coming up with a way to partner with me to get a school vs school vote going…good way to pay for some beer money don’t ya think.

WWW.PiDDyPiNE.COM has officially launched, and today we start what hopes to be a new way of advertising for the masses, not just to them. Today everyone has their own space on the web, whether it’s a blog, myspace account, website etc. With PiddyPiNE.com you are able to promote your web space by voting on a topic of your choice. There are always different topics to choose from…and if you don’t see one you like, you can submit your own topic. If your topic is chosen we will split the net profit that topic generates.
Most of you will wonder why I’m not setting a target of making 1 million dollars. Simple. I don’t want the site to be known as another “million dollar idea whore” like all the other sites out there. I believe the concept is unique enough without needing to attach the usual million dollar goal to it.
I look forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts on how to make the site better and don’t forget,

Has anyone else seen it…guess it is limited to Canada and a few border states that might get the CBC. I think it’s a great show and like reading the feedback on the website. Should do something like this in the US…state by state…have entrepreneurs from each state be the panel. See who could be the most profitable state, granted some of the ideas are very bad…the sockey thing…mercy…but as the show conitues they should get better ideas.
